what do you do when a friend you have been intimate/fallen in love with wants friendship and that's it?

we have been friends for a while and we always seem to have the best time when we are together,but he wants to be just friends and nothing more but yet he continues to call to check on me and comes over and he cant keep he's hands off me and I can't keep mine off him its like we cant control it. It just happens, I love him and I feel he loves me but is afraid to just say it because of past realtionships that he has had.For the first time in my life I really am in love with someone and when i told him my feelings he told me not to talk this way,it hurts so much when he says this to me. I told him I was going to give him what he wanted but i know when he calls me agian or comes around me agian the attracation willl start again and we will start the same cyle again,what would you do would you continue to be friends,or just walk away from him completley and deal with the pain of losing your best friend and the one you truly love.
