The Holocaust was a horror almost beyond imagination, but the Inquisition by the Christian church was lightyears more horrible, and it went on for decades. The Crusades went on even longer, imprisoning, torturing and slaughtering many more people, again backed by the Christian church.

Any type of genocide is cruel and defies humanity. Most people just think about the Holocaust and the removal of Jews, but there are so many other disgusting periods in history. Think about the Native Americans. The Europeans were killing them left and right, sterilizing the woman and killing newborn babies. When the Europeans arrived on this continent in 1500 there were 12 million Natives, and in 1900 there were only 237,000. They lost their culture but at least the Jews still maintain theirs.

I agree.
But it does not excuse what Israel is doing!
The Turkish caused a Holocaust when they wiped out millions of Armenians, in a Land-Grab & exactly what Israel R doing right now.
Due the West needing Turkish Military Bases 2 supply munitions 2 Invade Iraq, it's a holocaust they would prefer 2 forget all about.
I find this as equally, if not more Cruel, because we're not allowed 2 mention it!

When I was in the Air Force, I was stationed in Berlin and had the opportunity to visit Dachau concentration camp. It is an overwhelming sense of sadness that just comes over you as you walk around, seeing what mankind can come up with to do to each other.

From the sacrificing of Christians at the Coliseum, to the Salem witch trials, to the Inquisition, to the Holocaust, is there no end to the limits of pain and terror we will force upon each other in the name of some cause?

ever hear of Stalin, PolPot, EdiAmi, Mao. et.al. They killed far more... And the world let them get away with it... That is cruel inhumanity... My Father was one of the medics who help liberate a couple of the death Campe at the end of WWII... I have spoken to many of the Survivors of those camps. I have seen the archives in Israel of the horrific things done in those places... Yet the same continues to this day... and islam wants to finnish what hitler failed to do... And kill all of the Christian Faith as well...even as we babble on yahoo. You aint seen nothing yet when it comes to the evil man can do to man.

I am not sure how they could have made all that up.... all the pictures... news coverage... and survivors. People who think that the Holocaust was made up.... live in denial of true history. The Holocaust is a black stain on the history of man.
