Does anyone here know anything really IMPORTANT about becoming a Podaitrist? (a podiatrist is a foot and ankle doctor)

Well first off feet and ankles dont bother me at all. But I dont have a foot fetish either like a lot of people think I do. I want to become a DPM (Doctor of Podiatric Medicine) because I have foot and ankle problems myself and I have experince with them. If I can help at least one person with their problems it would make my day!!! If you have any questions aobut anything wrong with your feet or ankle jsut ask me and if I cant help you I will talk to my Podiatrist. You can go to my profile here and e-mail me:)

Get good grades in school! Do some volunteer work on your time off (summer). Be active in one group in school or sport. These help on your application to show that not only did you study, but you did other things (are well rounded).

Best of luck!

The best way is to call the admissions Office of a College of Podiatry. The staff will answer all your questions!!
