My hair is Long and brown..since school is starting i wanted a new look. I already have highlights but my rots are starting to grow back..i was wondering if I should just get more highlights or dye my whole head :)

The problem with highlights is that to lift dark hair a strong bleach must be used. When touchups are done, it is almost impossible to highlight the exact same hair that was highlighted. This results in highlights spreading and over time lightening your hair all over. The repeated application of a strong bleaching solution is damaging to your hair. In time, your hair will weaken and start breaking off. Broken hair........ Not a pretty sight.
If you want to keep your hair long and strong and beautiful, give up the highlights. Colour all over to match your natural colour then start taking poroper care of your hair. Treat it gently and it will look beautiful for years to come. Abuse it and it will be a ravaged mess in no time.

Natural looking highlights. No white stripes, they belong on zebra's not people!

If its a color you've never had before, then highlights. If its a color you've had before or one near to it, then all over.

highlights are definatly preetyier but only go a few shades lighter than your natural haircolor

HIGHLIGHTS! Make sure you know what u r doing. Or if some does your hair make sure they know what they r doing. OR ELESE IT IS UGLY!

hight lites and then if it looks good then go 4 an all over
