"Emo" is a current rock trend where people dress up all dark and practically hate their lives and want to end it but when they cut they chicken out so they don't do it. "Emo" is also when someone is really emotional such as depression!

Emo is a style of somewhat heavy rock where the songs are typically about how bad and painful life is. You can usually tell emo guys by the dorky glasses they wear, the constant use of backpacks, and really lame use of eye-liner. At least the old glam guys knew how to pout and be sexy about it.
