I have sunburn on my back and shoulders and the pain has just let up and and my skin is starting to peel.

My back itches to no end and I must look like a 'tard attemping to scratch my back.

Anything I should put on it or take?

Um, wear sunscreen to prevent burns!

In the meantime, Noxema works well, as does Solarcaine (over the counter spray for sunburns). Keep your skin moisturized (cocoa butter, lotion, etc.) and use gentle soaps (Oil of Olay, Caress, etc.). At night, put Aloe Vera on to prevent being itchy at night.

Next time you get a sunburn try this one part antibiotic cream
one part aloe cream or gel
1 part hydrocortizone cream
A doctor gave me this formula and it makes you feel so much better and the itch at the end is minimized
