Software for PC to mobile phone transfer?

....using data cable. Is there any?

Actually my PC has detected the "new hardware" that is, my phone. But it is asking for some software(?) and some CD. I have XP and L6 phone.

PLZ help! atleast for the points.

At least you are one step closer. When it has detected your hardware but has not recognized what it is, a WIZARD window will pop up. Here, you will have the option of installing from a CD or make it do a search. Click onto the "SEARCH this one time only" while being hooked up to the internet. Your computer will search the net to find a driver for it. Hopefully it will. If successful then where it originally said "new hardware detected", it will now say Motorola L6 phone.
