Smashingly good spuds: To make delicious carrot-flavored mashed potatoes, add 1 part carrots to 2 parts potatoes in boiling water and cook then until fork-tender. Then mash them, adding a pat of butter and milk or chicken broth. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Scalloped is the only way to eat a potato in my opinion. I do like potatoes in stews though, its the Irish in me.

i think that boiled potatoes with salt and pepper is much better

BUT i advice not to eat the french fried ones too often as they are not good for health
