Yoga is one method of teaching you how to control what your own mind does to you. In practice, it is a way of life. It will reduce stress, if you change what you allow your imagination to create, within your thoughts.

Your own mind creates and accepts stress.. just need to find a way to reduce or eliminate, what your mind creates.

Yes....you concentrate on your breathing as well as meditating at the same time, not to mention the great bod you'll be achieving in no time :)
