My cousin puts leave in conditioner in her hair before she straightens it. She has coarse nappy type hair and it always looks so pretty after she straightens it, she looks pretty with it curled too but i like it straight!

I used to hair very dry, frizzy hair that still looked coarse when I straightened it and then I discovered the cure--deep conditioner! Your hair is like this because it has a rough cuticle, the extra moisture smooths it out and makes it shiny and manageable. I would leave it in with warm water and wrap a towel over your hair for a few hours, do this twice a week at first. Then just use deep conditioner in the shower. Also, try not to wash your hair too often. A good blowout (straightening your hair with the blowdryer) should stay clean for days. Also it's important to use a heat protecting spray like the one from Nexxus to avoid further drying, and use a straightening balm like Phytodefrisant, even when you air dry it smoothes your hair and removes frizz. The deep conditioner I use is Neutrogena Triple Moisture, I am totally addicted to it now. I wrote a lot more than I planned but I hope it helps you!

My hair is rather curly and frizzy. I even have cried and whined that i ought to get it blow dried. It of course did no longer artwork so what you're able to do is first locate oils and different hair shampoos that are the superb and don't have extraordinary stuff because of the fact curlywavy hair is extremely delicate and can be broken truthfully from specific products. Then after that's brushed and you're arranged for mattress positioned it up in a bun or ponytail to maintain it on top of issues. once you're taking it out make sure that's thoroughly dry otherwise it is going to turn frizzy returned. Then it is going to likely be advantageous for something if the day.

I know exactly what you feel like. My hair was frizzy, puffy, and totally unmanageable from age 11 to17. Then i tried a new way of styling it that works really well. My hair looks curly, but in a pretty way; not frizzy or puffy. Wash your hair and put a leave-in conditioner in it.( I love Aussie leave-in conditioner/mousse) Don't comb it, just use your fingers to detangle it, and then section it off into the size curls you want (larger sections get bigger curls) twist the sections until they double over on themselves, and then let your hair air dry without messing with it. This worked really well for me, and i love my hair now. Good luck!

I have the same problem. Try a reverse perm. It is the opposite of a perm. Either that go to the salon and get some anti- frizz oil or by some garnier frutice shampoo and leave in conditionor! that should help! good luck!

My daughter has the same problem. Try going to your stylist and see what he or she recommends. Hairspray and gel isn't really gonna help. Have you tried a deep conditioner? Try products by Nexxus and John Frieda. If that's too steep for your budget, look into Garnier, Pantene, and Infusium. All are available at your local beauty supply store.

Well, the problem is that majority of the serums out there contain silicon and silicon may not be your hair's best buddy. That said, I suggest olive oil. Try spraying a little bit of Olive Oil Sheen Spray on your hair when it is wet. It gets rid of the frizz and conditions your hair.

WOW...I'm not the ony one?.....lol I am in the exact same situation as you!!! I even go to a professional hair stylist and they tell me I have stubborn hair...they finally straighten it after 2 hours of blowdryer and flat iron, but it still gets frizzy! I don't think there is really a cure-all solution.

you should try to go get it professionally straightned, then always use frizz control shampoo, then it will start to get straighter. My mom and sister both have really curly hair, and so did I, until I started to straighten it with a really good straight iron, now I can just blowdry my hair and it is not curly...point is over time it will loose its curl...p.s. try the Karouk Chi Flat Iron!!! GOOD LUCK!

My friend has done the Japanese hair straightening at the local salon. Although expensive, she has naturally curly hair and even if she just steps out of the shower and combs her hair wet, it will dry straight. It is amazing!
