sperm is living. masturbation i think its considerd adultry..i think. to tell you the truth i have no idea on that. if it is, im ****** frome both sides here.

I don't think it's a sin. Could you imagine if every time every dude busted a *** they had to do it in a woman, talk about the population explosion......holy crap!!! plus, how many kids would be dying all over the place,,,it would be awful.....I think that's what they do in Africa, India and CHina, obviously and LOOK at those places!
But I digress...
I would be careful to equate a sperm with a fetus though, you are simplifiying a very tough ethical dilemma. First of all, a fetus is an established, seperate, individual human. It is a whole human being (being human..somewhere, right?) It is not merely a few cells. I would think that a fetus at 12 weeks gestation ...a tiny little thing, but with arms, legs, facial expressions and sucking it's thumb even! is not to be equated with millions of sperms that you wipe up with a towel.
I think that is cruel, dehumanizing and very very unfair. Don't you think?
ps. You don't need a high powered suction tube to go in rip the living $hit out of a sperm to kill it (if that helps you any...)

Yes sperm is living and I do believe masturbation is a sin, not that I havent done it because I have but it still dont make it right because when people masturbate they usually think of someone while doin it and that is in itself an act of sin to think lustfully of a person to whom you are not married to.

Only Orthodox Jews believe that wasting sperm is "wasting your seed" so far as I know (Based on an obscure passage in Genesis where a man refused to obey his Mosaic duty to marry his brother's childless widow and raise a child in his brother's name.). Maybe other Jewish sects believe the same.
The Christian denominations that teach that Masturbation is a sin do so on the theory that it is a sin to sexually fantasize about a woman whom you are not married to. They often cite a passage from the Sermon on the Mount where Jesus says that looking lustfully at another man's wife is equivalent to cheating (I.E.: adultery).

I don't believe any evil is set in motion due to masturbation, nor do I believe any sin is marked against you.
