First the actions of some misguided zealots do not truly characterize the whole. Are all Americans killers? The Conquistadors razed a synagogue with Jeshua's compatriots inside while singing holy songs to the Hebrew Messiah. Does that make all Christians murderers? Members of the Jewish army cross Lebanon in search for terrorists while Jewish missionaries are working with the Red Cross in Lebanon and other Arab countries. Jewish doctors work with Red Cross teams to save Palestinians lives--does that make all Jews murderers.
The reason Christians do not kill people who disrespect their "foundation stone" "Shepherd redeemer" is that:
a) a High Priest first disrespected Jeshua. if the priesthood had not erred, no-one would have been able to do so without being killed. That ushered in the Melchizedek Priesthood.
b) Jeshua's words on the same Mount Moriah where Abraham sealed the covenant "Forgive them for they know not what they do."
c) Psalm 51, Psalm 22, prophesied such.
Boaz.

Here's the difference. We Christians may not like it when some one mocks Jesus, but we can chalk it up to ignorance and move on. We know that eventually, this person will be held accountable for their words, so we don't have to fight that battle. Radical Muslims, however, just don't seem to get it. They just don't have it in them. They believe that the Koran gives them permission to kill the infidels, and that's just what they do. Sad, but true.

Christianity is supposed to be based upon LOVE.
The fact that some Christians have killed because of their belief is actually something that a good Christian would be ashamed of.
I don't know very much about Islam... but what I have read is that a particular sect of that religion DOES teach that violence is necessary. Not all of them believe that way, though.

The ones who take most offence and react most violently when their beliefs are questioned or mocked are those with the least faith in what they profess to believe. Anyone who is secure and confident in their beliefs would not feel the need to take offence.
