FInd out where they will be staying on their wedding night. Create a special basket for her and her new hubby. Include some of her favorite snacks, candles, disposable cameras, maybe a photo album, bubble bath in a pretty bottle (doesnt have to be the one it came in. wal mart sells alot of different bottles in the kitchen section. just be sure to label it with a pretty tag and ribbon.), massage oil is always nice, a bottle of sparkling cider and then 2 champagne flutes (cheap ones from the dollar store work great here), and anything else you can think of. If they are staying at the reception location have an employee deliver it to their room so it will be waiting there when the couple gets there. Trust me the snacks will be a more than welcome treat. oh yeah, be sure to make it to "The new Mr. and Mrs________" new brides always love being referred to as Mrs._______ on their wedding day.

Find out her registry and use it to guide you.
You say you are her close friend, so you would probably know better than we would what would be a good idea. I mean, there's always the standby of a vase, a bowl, a champagne bucket (if she drinks), a picture frame, etc. But, I'd stick with the registry so that you are getting her something that you know that she wants and needs. : )

Check the registry, buy something like nice wine glasses, a crystal picture frame for one of their wedding pics, one of their verses/readings in a frame (many christain stores have these), or of course money works too ( no cash!, to easy for it to get stolen in the reception box)

Book a honeymoon suite for them
or
You could do this, but its kinda difficult
--> get her's and her beau's photo
--> go to a digital photo shop and mix these together to get one cool couple photo
---> give it to them on their wedding, I am sure you would be the first to give them their couple photo's even before their wedding photographers do!!

She should be register somewhere, just ask her maid of honor where. If not, since she's a close friend, just ask her what she would like to have.

Check out her registry or ask her for a list. You'd hate to get her something that they already have.
