i have sent letter to france ministry of external affairs from paris and now i have given my uncle address at france. now i am in india and they sent the reply letter but the post office informed to my uncle that i have come and collect the letter personally. please advice how can i get the letter.

You send a letter of authorization addressed to whoever you sent the letter first and tell them your uncle has been authorised by you to receive the letter on your behalf. You send this letter to your uncle (by courier if you want urgent action) who in turn can take it to the department and get the letter addressed to you! Got it? Hope this helps you.
