Don't assume I'm American, folks, just because I put soccer in brackets next to football! So far I agree with pig_m. Thanks for responding.

An English Soccer commentator once said the following:

"Football is not just a matter of Life and Death. It's far more important than that."

In a way, I agree. It brings people, total strangers, together and can create community, a sense of belonging.

I bet you any amount of money that if you take 22 total strangers who all spoke different languages, stuck them in a field and put a Soccer-ball in front of them, they will straight-away know what you mean and start playing what everyone calls The Beautiful Game :-)

a religion more go to it than to the churches and it has got the same people in fanantical supportes and terrorist
