Low in calories. I know coffee is supposed to be good - anything else?

I'm not overweight but I need something to take my mind off food whilst restricting my calorie intake lower than what it should be. Thanks.

garcinia cambogia (also called Hydroxycitric acid or HCA) or apple cider vinegar tablets with lots of water.....ask at the health food store, tell them you don't want any other additives (like chromium)

I prefer the garcinia, they don't smell. 1 tablet before each meal (with a big glass of water) on most of the brands available, pretty cheap if you buy just the plain HCA. It has 0 calories, doesn't get your heart racing, has no stimulants and I've not been able to find any reactions when taking a proper dose. It is also non-addictive, unlike caffeine. I have a bad heart problem and had this approved by my doctor first.

Caffeine can make your blood sugars change too much, not a good thing to use as a diet aid. They throw that into diet pills because it gives the pill some kick so you can feel your magical pill worknig on you and because it is a form of appetite control.......just not a very good one that can have some nasty side effects.

Hoodia, its great, the bushmen of the Kalahari desert use it, so they can go on long hunting trips and not have to worry about hunger, a pharmecutical company got hold of the information on it and tried to screw the bushmen out of any money for the idea, it was taken to court and the bushmen won, so now they grow Hoodia for commercial use, I dont know where you are in the world, but there are quite a few sellers of Hoodia on ebay, so you can give that a go if you like, I have tried it myself, and there are no adverse side effects, you dont feel antsy with it, you just dont think about food all the time, and when its meal time you can eat a good meal, but not want to keep on eating, like you can sometimes!

There is a lot of info on it on the net, so look around, give it a go!

Meridia is supposed to the the big one (and seen falling out of Britney Spears handbag a while ago).

It didn't do much for me, but I'm an emotional eater rather than a hungry eater.

Hope you find something that works for you x

Coffee? you're nuts its not good for ya. Try exercising and drinking plenty of water. find other activities to do if you want to avoid eating. Pratice self love by being healthy and in control of what you are consuming and feeding your body. It's about making healthy choices, mind over matter.

Getting phone calls in the middle of the night. Even if they're harmless it puts you off food for the rest of the day

get off your butt and go for a walk. if you r thinking of food all the time, you have too much time on your hands. those of us that have an active lifestyle don't have time to think of food all the time let alone eat. taking pills to fix problems only hurts in the long run, so don't try that....and shame on anyone who encourages you to do so.or smoking for that matter, haven't they heard it actually KILLS you?????
