The first part of that question is incredibly difficult to answer, as one must ask "Significant to whom?" Each religion undoubtedly holds any of its own artifacts as much more significant than any artifact belonging to its competitor faiths.

The second part of your question is just as simple to answer as the first is difficult. No artifact, in any way, can confirm or deny the validity of a religion. They can, perhaps, confirm or deny the *historicity* of accounts contained within religious texts or mythologies, but "validity?" Can't be done.

The validity of a religion exists only within the minds of its faithful. If you find a deep personal truth or meaning within a religion, who is anyone else to confirm or deny that meaning? Each religion, at one point or another, makes claims that others of different religions tend to be skeptical of, or even openly scoff at. Even someone unconcerned with the theological implications can, with enough study, point out a good number of uncomfortable "inconsistencies" in any holy book.. But what of it? The believers still believe because it is powerful and meaningful to them, and the disbelievers still disbelieve because it is not powerful and meaningful to them.

Besides.. What artifact in the world, from *any* culture or religion, could one potentially unearth that would actually *prove* or *disprove* God?

There is several, but one of the lastest things found is a coin depicting the Queen of Sheba.
Until then there was absolutely nothing backing the Bible record about her. Of course, because of that her existance was doubted.

Archeology more and more proves the accuracy of the Bible.

This is what Kills me..........If you believe then it has to be on Faith
Why then do people need to see to believe
Because it's easier
But the Lord said Blessed are those who have never seen me and still believe in me
It's all about Faith

It's interesting how even sometimes when people have proof right in front of them, they still won't believe it.
