You need to get to the root of the problems. Obviously you love each other and love being together, but you can't seem to live together. Is it money problems? Is it problems with sharing the work of maintaining the household? Do you irritate each other? There must be something that comes between you two when you are in each others space 24/7. Until you find out what it is and how to fix it, you will not be able to get back into a relationship.

It sounds like you might be a better couple if you look at redefining your boundaries. When you become "all and everything" together, you both feel confined. But when you have more flexibility, you are happier. Consider staying together, but with different boundary definitions. Your relationship doesn't sound weird.

Almost all good relationships break up and get back together - so don't let that discourage you.

Why not make a pact, and agree no contact for a month. When the month has gone meet each other,on a date.Bring the little one to the get together and see what transpires...GOOD LUCK
