Yes, that's a fine idea. But why can't I say anything more than yes? I'm not gonna say anything mean or obscene. Hey, I rhymed a lil. Anyways! I just recently got a kitten from a shelter & she sleeps in our bed. We got rid of her fleas as well & it's no biggie & it's great. Have a great time with your new cat!

I have a cat & when I first got her I tried to let her sleep in bed with me. But cats sleep on & off ALL DAY so they don't sleep a full 8 hours or whatever like we do. & they don't just go to sleep when you want them to. So, this cat is probably going to get up & walk off as soon as you lay it down or when you're asleep. The one time my cat did fall asleep in my bed she ended up cutting my lip open with her claw at some point during the night. & if you're getting this cat from the shelter it's probably been abused or not had much positive contact with humans, so it's going to be scared. Just don't go getting yourself bit or something. Good luck.

Yes, if she wants to sleep in the bed. It might take a while for her to feel comfortable enough with you though so dont be upset if she doesnt sleep with you right away.

this is more than a yes or no question. you can't make her sleep with you. cats have their own will and if they want to sleep in the bed with you then they will and if they don't then they won't.
