If they are fine with it, then it is fine, if they aren't that you shouldn't. It's their wedding and you should respect their wishes. If you are the groom, then you should ask the girl you are marrying what she thinks about it and wants.

no the color thing is not as a big deal any more. Like women who are not virgins are still wearing white.
