Girl.... I hear this so much. You can call me somewhat of an expert on relationships. Although its totally unfair to men: You gotta play the game. Heres what you do: Make him want you back. It might take a few weeks or even a few months. But just act like you are having fun. Go out, have a few drinks, meet some new people. Involve yourself in different things. KEEP BUSY! Not only will this help you not feel so awful all the time, But once he sees that you are perfectly functional without him, and you NO longer NEED HIM.... Hes gonna come back. I've done this, IT WORKS. We're married now. I truly feel that if I had stayed home after we broke up, and moped around.... Things would not be the way they are now. Good luck. If you need any more advice email me.

If you chase after him because you're needy and leave messages every five minutes, you'll do more damage.
Leave one short message and then don't call back. He can't miss you if you're always there.
You might be in intense pain right now and want immediate resolution, but that's not how things work.
If you are meant for each other, a day or a week or a month apart doesn't matter. He'll come back when he's ready, or he won't.
Go find something else to do while your obsessing? Get your nails done, have fun, go bike riding. Be responsible for your own happiness.

Just swallow your pride and apologise. He won't throw 6 years away with you, unless it was over something really bad.

If it were me, I would try to make things up as soon as you can, as the longer you leave it, the worse it will be.
