Honestly I don't commit crimes so I may not be the best person to answer this question, but I would imagine there would be many different reasons people would commit crime. Could be that the people commiting the crimes grew up in a high crime neighbord, could have gone in the persons immediate family so they think it is acceptable behavior, could be a person who just wants attenion and can't get it posotivly so they go for negative attenion instead.
