Any suggestions for a good barbeque feast for a small group of friends? I can't decide which type of animal to roast. Also, I have to be able to prepare it within 6 hours. Any suggestions?

All you tree hugging hippie animal lovers need not respond. I believe PETA stands for people eating tasty animals.

Ribs either beef or pork the best way is to par boil them then submerge them in the barbecue sauce then grill just before serving. serve them with grilled potatoes (blanch, then split and coat with olive oil and salt, then grill) by par boiling and blanching the ribs and potatoes you cut the grilling time way down, they are mostly cooked and so the grilling is just heating through and adding flavor.

Adriana called it... Pig roast. Or maybe beer chickens. Ya take a couple large chickens and shove a beer can up the hole of them(opened) and stick them on the grill. The beer marinates the meat and ooooh man is it tasty! Throw in some macaroni salad and a watermelon and we're happenin'!

Hi.
A turkey is always good and it's always enough to feed a little amount of people or big amount if you want.
After that there could be some for turkey sandwich's or salad the next day if you like.
Thats what we are doing for our family picnic in september, but we are makeing two of them for that day so there will be enough for every one who come's.
Good luck.
Take care.
Sharon.

How many friends? Get a flank steak, lay it on your cutting board and cut it into strips-remember to cut it on a 45, across the grain. Skewer it, marinate with a little soy, ginger and garlic, and grill. OR...get a pork butt, season it, and cook it over indirect heat for 3 hours...veggies on skewers too...

Pig roasts are always nice, plus you get the fun of watching it turn around and around.
