Someone who makes me laugh - physical attractiveness disappears after a while but someone who is funny is usually intelligent and that stays long after the "flame" is gone.

Well, a sense of humor is great as a first impression with me. I like someone who has a strong connection to their family and alsosomeone who treats me well. Compliments can be nice in moderation and if heartfelt and the biggest.. dancing. Not like the bootilicious kind.. but like the dean martin sweep you off your feet kind. That's how my guy got me to swoon and I fell for him hard. Two years later and that dancing stuff still seems to do wonders for our relationship.

Someone who is funny, compassionate and has a good heart. Attractiveness fades away after the first 6mths and what is underneath is what you have to live with.

I was advised to look at how he treats women in general and, more specifically, how he treats women in his family (since once you are married, the wife becomes just another relative eventually). I watched for someone who is kind, respectful, considerate, generous, forgiving, responsible, funny, optimistic, honest, encouraging, and enjoys life.

caring, loving, respectful, honest, faithful, a sense of humor, someone who doesn't use game to approach me . . . they just be themselves . . . someone who is not what most people would consider really good looking but just beautiful on the inside.
