patience is a virtue honey. trust me. i've got 4 sisters (two are actually my cousins but we grew up together) at your ages fighting is natural. i know it sucks but hang in there. someday you guys will probably be best friends. in the mean time since you are the older (I'm the oldest of 7 so trust me I know how much it can suck) You might have to be the better person and give in now and then. even when she makes you so mad you want to pull her hair out try to calm down and give in to her demands. even if they seem childish. try to remember she IS a child. good luck.

Awww, this is sibling rivalry! Quite normal! And being 10 years old they are trying to be more independent at this age and she wants to act and feel older to fit in with you and your friends and as for you being 15, you're trying to become a young MAN! You need your Independence and freedom to be who you really are! You will butt heads a lot for the next 3 years till you both mature more. At the end of this stage you two will become the bests friends! Hang in there, things will get better! Just make sure that you give each other the space needed. And don't stop loving each other, you'll find you'll depend on each other more as time goes by!

My daughters are the same - it gets me down. I think older sisters feel they have to help "bring" up the little sister. I tell my daughter there was no one on her case all the time and she managed fine! Her sister isn't so fortunate, which makes me defend her, which leads to accusations of favourtism. It's not - just the sheer nagging gets us all down.
So, may I suggest you lighten up? Don't take it so seriously? If she is out to annoy you, ask yourself why? My younger daughter longs for her older sister's approval - when hell freezes over! - but if you show some positive attitude towards her, she'll probably warm towards you. After a lecture, my older daughter always tries and it works well for a few days. It's an attitude thing - relax about your sister. Don't get so uptight. Respect her rights as a human being and you'll get on fine.

i have the same problem and I'm 15 too but i have a brother who is nearly 13 and we sure don't get along he also gets me into trouble all the time especially because he has special needs and i don't he does things and gets away with it so i get the blame which really annoys me and i have to put up with that everyday if u r having trouble talk to your mum and dad about it and they will sort it out just do some nice things for her and keep doing it until she is nice to you don't encourage her things like "the last person to sit on that chair is stupid" don't do things like that if she does it to you just say "oh who cares I'm not a child" also keep doing that until she gets the message i don't know why but when you do nice things for little kids they do nice things back so trust your instincts and think that your 15 and shes 10 you shouldn't do things like that together be nice to each other because you and her r only 5 years apart

What are your parents doing about this? I know she is 10 & its a very tough age.. she probably shee you as almost being an adult and feels she wants to me like you.. so there is a struggle there.. try to have a talk with her.. tell her you hate the way you are fighting and that you love her. Find out how she is feeling about you and why she feels this way.. ask her what she thinks the solution will be... I know when ever I have a heart to heart talk with someone I love.. it always ends in tears and hugs and kisses... Just stay calm.. if it gets heated just tell her, let try again later.. Good luck.. & God Bless

Form a bond with your little sis.Make a day where you set aside time just for her.Take time to teach her little things, like make-up,or what to wear. She thinks you are her hero you are the big sister,She only gets you in trouble cause you ignore her,Try sharing the front seat every now and then. You are the older one here does it really mean an argument to ride in the front,By letting her you will gain her respect and a bond where she will no longer tell on you she will begin to stick up for you.Good luck God bless;O)

Your relationship with your sister sounds pretty normal to me. Don't worry about it. When you are adults you will look back at these petty rows you're having and laugh.
It seems a huge deal now, but deep down you love each other. Both of you are still very young and you have a lot of maturing to do. Remember that.

i know how that is lol believe me! you'll probably always fight with her, but just try your best. That means if she say, borrows your shirt w/o asking don't scream at her, just explain nicely that she should not have done that. Another thing that helps is to offer to do something with her sometime-my siblings always seem to respect me more when I do that. Good luck!
