C there is this guy i know from quite some time through net chatting and e-mailing. He appears to b everything I could wish for but that's the main problem. He APPEARS to b everything I could wish for but over a net connection can u b really sure. I mean I hear on regular basis about cyber crimes and stuff and it makes me hesitant to trust anyone but I want to trust him.Plz tell what should I do?

you can't rely on the internet to really get to know someone, because you are not face to face on a computer. When you can hide behind a computer screen you can be anyone you want to be....that is the beauty of the internet. Unfortuneatly many people are not honest and upfront about who they really are with whomever they are corresponding with. My advice is if you like this guy..maybe take it to the next level and talk on the phone. If you are still comfortable after a while and want to take this thing out into the real world than go for it just be safe about it. Meet in a public place the first few times and see what happens. Who knows this may be the man you are looking for. The worst that could happen is that he was too good to be true. Be safe and good luck!!

This is a hard one. You have obviously fallen for this guy. Think it through carefully. Is this what you really want? If so, then proceed carefully. If not, then tell him yuo aren't sure and drop it.
Internet is a scary place to meet people, but if you are insistant on meeting him, then make sure it's in a busy place, and take an adult with you. maybe your bigger sis or a parent? And if your parents don't know, then go with a bigggg group of mates. At least more than 1.

Trusting someone over the internet can be very dangerous. If you really want to meet this person I would, meet him at a public place and bring a friend along with you. (somewhere like a mall or something.)

plz do not trust anyone u meet over the net...
think & remember... did he ask for ur details 1st & then tell u his? or wuz it the otherway round... if it is the 1st one, u can b sure that he has modified his real identity to impress & actually 'fit' ur specifications...
there r plenty of guyz out there who u can actually MEET & decide for urself whether u share similar vibes or not...

You have to go with your best instinct.. If he seems to good to be true then hes prolly to good to be true.. I see it this way.. IF indeed he IS that true.. He wouldnt be online making relationships. be very friendly and true to him and one or the other day he might tell u all the truth(if hes lying currently)and then as ur friendship or watever becomes deeper maybe u ll also trust him without being hesitant about nething.u know same thing had happened wid me.but then one day he himself told me that he had lied and told that hes actually graduate.but still i trust him.look its natural to find few chat frienz tellin lies but then u have to assure then that u trust them.and then their conscience will themselves make them confess that they had lied.i hope u get wat i mean.

If you know his real name and where he lives you could always run a background check on him! I mean if you are really interested in him, you would at least know if he has been in any trouble with the law!!!
