Sounds like a problem I had at one time. I started using Nioxin shampoo (they different formulas) and taking vitamin E. It's not cheap, but they make good products. Try not blow drying your ends so much, and not towel drying the heck out of them. Just wrap your head in a towel until your'e ready to do your hair and dry your roots first. If your hair is fine, then the ends should be dry by the time you finish with the roots. Had anyother strange symptoms withthe hair loss? Check into it...hair loss is not mormal.

You should try Head and Shoulders. They have a lot of brands for a lot of different hair types. If you want to go the expensive route then I would ask a doctor or try this shampoo called T-Gel. It works so good. I had the same problem. I tried both shampoos and they both work mericals.

Hi, I have oily hair and dry ends too, it's horrible! The very best hair care line in my opinion is Kerastase. It is more expensive than, say, Redken, but it works so well. They have an entire line created just for dry/damaged hair, and it's very light so it works perfectly with an oily scalp. Kerastase is a Parisian line, so you might have difficulty finding a salon that carries it; look online if you have trouble.

You need to have the ends trimmed off, and keep them trimmed regularly. Then QUIT putting so much product on your hair, most of it contains alcohol and other things which dry your hair out.

Leave the blow dryer alone, and towel dry your hair.

Get it cut in a way that minimizes what you need to do it. Otherwise, you're going to keep having hair loss.

Some people have no volume to their hair, I'm one of those. I have very soft, baby fine hair, that is as straight as it can be. I keep it short, and I never ever use a blow dryer on it.

You can't "make" your hair anything other than what it is naturally without causing damage. Stop.

try this ; when you shampoo don't use your nails and scratch the heck out of your scalp that will activates your scalp to promote more oil. try using padding shampoo to your scalp no harsh movements. then for volume use matrix voluminous shampoo or the Lo-real T.E.X professional voluminous shampoo. these two are great. don't forget to use their voluminous conditioner but only apply it to mid and end of your hair not your scalp. after that if the ends of your hair are damaged use lo-real hair serum for the tips of your hair it smells great and works good. (its in an Orange pump bottle)

I would recommend Suave Amplifying shampoo and conditioner. It really is just as good as the Matrix version. I have tried and love it.
