stupid to some is not stupid to others.
some people have a need to be funny by using ignorance for humor and there are some who are just not that smart that are being honest by asking these questions that you consider stupid.
I personally think that alot of the times its just kids online that are bored that post some of these type things for attention.

I noticed that some people ask stupid questions. I think because some of them have no life. They are just sitting in front of their computer all day which is very unproductive.
