How bad do you think my jet lag will be going from New Orleans to Vancouver? The entire travel time is 8 hours including a 2 hour layover in Dallas.

Jet lag depends more on time differential than anything, rule of thumb is 1 day per 2 hr time differential (to get over it). Drink plenty of fluids & try to move aound on the plane if possible. Also walk alot during stopovers, avoid caffiene & alcohol.

You won't have jet lag -- as others are saying. You are flying north and crossing only 1 time zone, a tiny matter -- like going to Georgia. Do take your own cold water (freeze it first) and some snacks. Plane food is sparse and not particularly tasty. Put fruit and a sandwich in your carry-on. Have fun.

Not much as the time difference is minimal. Jet Lag is about crossing 4 or more time zones anything other than that is almost none existent.

You are only flying across a couple of time zones - you shouldn't be too bothered w/jet lag. Try to get a nap on the plane and, once you land, don't go to bed until your normal bed time, using the local time.

You'll probably be tired after your flight. Make sure to drink plenty of water, the air on planes is dry, you don't want to get dehydrated.
