Well actually, he is only seeing me. See he just got out of an 8 year relationship and she messed him up pretty good. I think it's just that he is scared of committing right now. Which it's not like I wanna marry him or anything.

Well see, he works off shore on a oil rig two weeks at a time. So it's kinda hard for us to see each other all the time and when he is home we are together the whole time. So I dunno maybe he feels like things are moving too fast when he is home. and then when he is out there he thinks about it the whole two weeks and it freaks him out a little.

It could mean the person is breaking things off completely but doesn't want to say so. It could mean the person is unsure of the relationship for some reason or that the person is feeling that things have been moving too quickly. The only way to know for sure is to talk more about it with that person.

Would normally say its because they want you to be a booty call, but this is a difficult question because only you know your partner? is that him??? if so then say bye, but maybe he really does love you but has trouble with commitment, what you should do is go back to dating, but without the sex untill the next commitment that you're currently set at is reached, and if he wants to take that commitment "AGAIN" within the first month or two, then yea say bye.

To go back means a status change. I would tell them to define where you are now and why would you want to go backwards in a relationship.
