as happened with me, my girlfriend loved me a lot, but since she came to know that i am leaving this country for 6 years to study medicine, she has changed.i know she loves me with all her heart but now she says she does not wanna see me.i told her that i will come back every year for a month,but still she doesn't wanna see me.she told me she will meet me after six years and till then she will only talk over phone, mail me,SMS me etc.i really really love her and i am going for just to make our future better.i feel dumped by her,and feeling very very lonely.would u girls please tell me this??would u dump the person you love the most in the whole world just because he is going to a different place to make his career??or is she saying the right thing?

5/6 is a long long time , u have to respect that ur gf is thikning bout calling it a day if you wont c each other for that long a time.I know it will b tough but mayb its beta if u jus email each other as friends because if u send like love emails to each other u both will becvome reli depressed ince you cant c eachother u get me ???And anyway u will both prob find sum1 ese no matter how hard u both try not to ...i suppose ur thinking wat does a 14 year old know bout love n that , yer i suppose ur right but o well , i hope u dont jus dismiss what i jus sed , please think bout it , if you reli cant let her go u will have to give ity a shot of email n txt ne sutff ....but anyway i hope it all works out great 4 u n ur gf :D

well it is going to be difficult to remain as close as you were ....but if it is really love then you should try to work out something that will make you both happy.. i think a career is important but is there not any way you can be with him ...it is really a decision that you will have to make.. it may be best that you both see other people and when he is done with his career and if you both still feel the same way then you know that you had strong enough love for each other.. i really would not want my boyfriend to go away and leave me even for a career unless i could go too..

I don't think she's dumping you...I think she realises life changes too much in 6 yrs and you will change a lot too and probably not need her anymore...I think she's just protecting herself from getting hurt and getting used to keeping her distance from you before you go on and actually tell her that your priorities have changed now and she's not a part of it anymore or somthing like you have met someone else...
