It sounds like this started suddeny. Have you started taking any particular medication lately? Some of them really cause hair fall and you might want to assess how important they are to you. Are you near menopause? You can't help but losing hair there. Or for any hormonal change like pregnancy. Stress also causes hair loss. And there is a genetic predisposition to hair loss. So, look at the older women in your parentage. All of those reasons are documented and well-known.
I have over the years, for different reasons lost a lot of hair. Some of it is the reasons above.
Unfortunately, it seems like good nutritioon does not help much. Reducing stress (like we all would not like that!) does help. The only treatment that I am aware of, short of hair transplants, is Rogaine. They say that you have to buy the men potency one and it does work. The trick is that you cannot skip it longer than one accidental day, nor ever stop using it, or you're back to where you were. If you are disciplined enough, go for it...

you can always use a nairnet to catch the hair.... no seriously it is a sensitive time of your life but balding is not controllable, it will happen whether you like it or not. i started loosing mine when i was 23 and i was shocked and stunned when i noticed. i fine these days is to just get it cut short and believe it or not, it not as noticable. dont worry just get on with it, women like balding men with confidence...
