Unfortunately our government has made it easier for people to come here illegally to get a better life at our expense and at the expense of a decent education for our own children than it is for poor people to build a better life in Mexico. While it is against the law for the illegal immigrants to be here, and they know it, I blame our government most. That is why we are working on our government.
We want them to work on their own.
Whatever their reason for breaking our laws does not make it ok that we have to pay for them. This is already the first generation when Americans will not do as well as their parents, and it look like just a matter of time, within this generation, that the services we depend on will be bankrupt. Letting illegal immigrants who flood this country use those services and making us pay for them is stealing and not fair.
I understand some Mexicans are trying to change Mexico. We are angry that those who aren't think they have an inherent right to violate our laws and come here and take what is ours, however.

Yes, I think they are taking advantage of America and Americans so they can make money and then return to Mexico to retire or even just to live without working for a couple of yrs then they come back here to make more. They come here to steal from us because they don't want to fight in Mexico because they know nothing will change there even if they win and change the leaders of the government. The new leaders will be corrupted as soon as they enter office and the bureaucracy will remain the real power

If what you say is true, then why do the majority of Mexicans oppose the US securing the southern border. Obviously the majority have discovered a better life to be had in the US, so why not take our advise on how someone can continue to improve their life, after entering the US. Crossing illegally may have been a necessity, having kids after crossing isn't. However, being born in the US, makes you a Citizen of the US. These illegal parents are hindering their kids progress at a better life. As are the millions of Mexicans/Latinos continuing to cross Illegally every year. These kids didn't grow up knowing the hardships of Mexico, don't have the same work ethic, are being lumped in with illegals and are confused as to which country they are citizens of.
If Mexicans come for a better life, appreciate the US's ability to provide it. Understand though, the people telling you to go back to Mexico and immigrate legally, say this for you & your US Citizen kids protection. We aren't racist, we're treating you equal to all illegals. Those people claiming it's ok for you to break the rules, while punishing other illegals, don't consider you equal. They don't care if you move up in fact, they'll try to make sure you, your kids-grandkids, never get out of that same low wage job. If you stay, they've got you and they'll hurt you. We're saying different things, but because we both appear white, they'll eventually convince you that we(those telling illegals to leave an apply legally) are actually responsible for years of oppression.
Study US history, if slaves weren't taken from Africa by force, but rather came willingly on their own, it definitely would've made the anti-slavery/abolitionist movement much more difficult. Again, $7 hr in 2006 isn't much of a pay increase from $0 hr in 1806. An illegal earning $7hr, asking for a raise, has little chance of getting it, when 100 more illegals crossing the border tomorrow will work for $7 or less.
If Mexicans have given up on changing Mexico and believe changing the US will be easier, they're going to be very disappointed. If the immigrants from a country that drove cars on the left side of the street, insisted on continuing to drive on the left in the US, they'd have a serious problem. In the US, we all drive on the right, not to discriminate against immigrants from left side driving countries, it's to make driving easier. Better or worse, this is how we've been driving for years and it's not going to change. If you want to drive in the US, follow our laws. Besides car insurance, traffic laws don't seem too difficult for Mexicans to understand, so why the immigration laws? Our laws exist for a reason, fighting against them is only going to hurt future Mexicans wanting to come to the US. Considering the fact that, not just Mexicans, but people from many other countries are being caught crossing the Mex border, doesn't leave the US many options. Mexico/Mexicans are ruining opportunities for not just themselves, but also their US citizen kids. Why leave a place you didn't like, illegally move to a new place, have kids, show them how proud you are of the place you left, try to replicate the living conditions/life style of the place you left in the new place, while exclaiming your reason for coming to the US, was for a better life for you and yours? Life may be better for you, but it's not better for your kids.
Would you please explain this logic? Why aren't other illegals waving the flag of countries they left? Lets pretend we're all immigrants, only one group to date, is waving another flag with the belief their home country a better place than the US. Sorry, actually 2, England was the other...
Count the number of foreign flags that have flown over/above Mexico/Mexican flag. Then research who helped Mexicans remove those flags/occupying countries, so the Mexican flag could once again be flown over Mexico? What land did Mexico offer, sign and agree to exchange as payment for removal of foreign occupying countries?
Thank you for discussing this.

O.K., YOU said the word mexican, remember that part.
mexicans are not "fighting" here in America, they are taking advantage of a political system which has many holes and gaps within itself in order to assure freedoms for its citizens. mexicans are also simply fu king & outbreeding the national populace, using a religious belief system of uncontrolled birth to increase. If that is considered "fighting" I want to "fight "each day. mexicans are trying to overtake this great nation we call America by political maneuverings & outbreeding, its a generational plan to subvert America and it seems to be working so far.
What mexicans are doing in mexico is of no concern to me unless it affects MY country, which illegal immigration does. There are many yet unknown ramifications to this ongoing issue. The fact remains that crossing into America by unlawful means is not the way to gain any support of the majority of American people. Also, using & abusing the public welfare & health systems is not a good way to gain support for the cause either. Forging and stealing legal documents isnt a good way to gain support.
Publicly demonstrating disdain for America by protesting in the streets isnt a good way to gain support.
Failure to attempt to assimilate into the mainstream culture isnt a good way to gain support.
There are so many wrong things about this "illegal immigrant" issue on the side of the immigrants themselves that it sometimes boggles the mind to think that they and their supporters can even believe what they say & do.
Have they no conscience? No ingrained morals? No sense of true justice?
This is how I think. Thanks for asking.

Are you mexican? Then how the hell do you know, what they are doing or not?
The illegals need to be fighting in their own damn country! It's not doing a damn bit of good for them to "fight in america", because america is NOT their country! The only things they doing here, is stealing people i.d.'s, breaking our laws, and pissing a lot of people off! They need to get the hell out of this country, and go fix theirs!

Who are they/we fighting? The Real Battle is with ignorance, and incompetence. If they did a better job of running their country, they'd have their problems solved, and they wouldn't be turning into america's problems. Put down the stick, and the rock, and pick up a BOOK...

I think differently. Why aren't they fighting in their own country? Why are they fighting in someone else's country? They seem to be misdirected. Mexico won't change if they keep fleeing, instead of demanding reform in their own country.
