If it is a single malt, just add a drop of water to release the flavours.
If you simply don't like whisky, just don;t drink it.
If its a blended whisky, add coke - the flavours won't be a crime to hide then!

Never heard of dimples.... you may be thinking of Pinch which is a darn good brand of blended scotch.. but to answer your other question ...if that's the way you like it go for it its you that has to drink it but if it was me .... I would never insult a good scotch by adding any thing ...no ice, no water etc. scotch is like brandy it needs to match your body temp when drinking so it won't seem as harsh to your pallet.

I've never heard of Dimples. Coke and scotch absolutely don't mix. Ugh.

If its yours you can do anything you want with it, but adding coke to a good scotch is a waste of it, the scotch that is. You might as well buy the cheapest stuff you can find if you are going to ruin it by adding soda pop to liquor.

Well, I don't drink Scotch so you have my blessing to put whatever you wish in your glass of coke along with a few ice cubes I imagine? I'm sure the drinkers of the unblended scotchs will have something else to say about that!!!!

I haven't heard of Dimples.
Most Scotch drinkers like to taste the Scotch.
I guess you do not like the taste, so you drown it with Coke.

My dad is a scotch drinker. Scotchies are very passionate about their drink of choice. In my opinion, quality liquor should be enjoyed straight, sip, savor, experience and enjoy. There are times for this kind of more reflective drinking and others times when you just want a 'cold one.' I use cheaper alcohol for mixing with sodas and juices.

C'mon Firefighter!?! You can't.... not if it is aged for 15 yrs. Just drink it straight up and then quote Ron Burgundy
" I love scotch. Scotchy, scotch, scotch. Here it goes down, down into my belly..."

Its sacrilege to add things to spirits, I drink Woods 100 dark rum and it has to be neat, nothing added not even ice, because that melts and waters the rum down.
