Actually, the very last thing Buddha ever said while he was dying was, "Work out your own salvation with diligence."
Buddha never asked anyone to believe him.
In fact, he encouraged questioning. He only offered his teachings as pointers that might be helpful along the way.
The Buddha said everyone can become enlightened in this life. He never claimed to be a God. In fact, when someone asked him if he was a God he said No! he was 'awake'. (Buddha in Pali means 'one who is awake')
Buddhism is science. In fact, the Dali Lama said if there was a contradiction between science and Buddhism then Buddhism would need to change.
Wake up! Right here, right now. What is this? What are you?
You're not only a human being. You are something very extraordinary.

Firstly, you care, by asking such a question you prove this. Second who says we should all deal with it, and what does that actually mean to "deal with Buddhism"?
Are you simply trying to take a pop at Buddhism by asking such an anile and pointless question? Your question reflect a great deal of internal anger and a sense of inability to effectively alter your environment. I feel you are lashing out with this question, I'm sure if I look at your other questions I will be proved correct.
You obviously carry a great resentment for Buddhists because you see they have the peace you crave, yet achieve it through a means you cannot make use of. Accept within your self that you are the only person who creates your current environment and act on that knowledge. Only you can decide to alter you environment, either by moving yourself physically to a better environment or taking the effort the improve what is around you.
You can most certainly live happily without Buddhism as many people do, however you must also look at the fact that many Buddhists are happy. The choice is yours as to how you live and only you can decide to be happy and how you achieve this. You are obviously not happy currently so you should change something, why not try Buddhism, it may help. If you are not happy now, what harm can it do.

Can we live happy life even without knowing anything about Buddhism? obcourse
Why should we at all deal with such religion as Buddhism? just fiddle with it, if you are drawn to it ... it like all other major orthodoxes has "some practitioners" who evangelise and try to convert ... but IMO if they try to do that towards you- they have strong ego attachment- and they are far from "authentic practitioner" ... but honestly ...if you were a Papua New Guinea shaman never hearing of Bhuddhism- and simply contemplating a sunrise in the right way ... I think you could arrive at the same realizations ..
Further Bhuddhism is a wide umbrella of disciplines and practices- mythologies and contemplative schools ... in short it is diverse ...
Hinayanas and Theravedans value especially the Pali Sutras ...
Personally my favorite is the Northern Mahayana ... but I do not like the distillations of these coming to the West through Trungpa, or even the laity or Dalai Lama ... I like their scriptures and yogas tho ..
Also I found Patanjali's Yoga Sutras(with Vyasu's commentaries) an important study ... But it is more Hindu than Bhuddhist ...
And zen ... brought by Bhoddhidharma to Japan, is another school, discipline ... and contemplative order altogether ...
Lol ...so .. consider the contrasts and :Finally, who cares?!? Yes ..lol ...who cares? ... Follow your bliss ...

Who is making you "deal" with Buddhism? Sure its possible to live happily without knowing anything about Buddhism. And finally, at lot of Buddhists care about Buddhism, but Buddhists don't generally force their beliefs on others so what is the problem?

Buddhism is a religion. It's our own choice if we want to believe in it or not... Yes I believe that we can live a happy life without even knowing anything about buddhism because it's our choice to be happy.

Long after you are dead and gone, Buddhism will continue to thrive. Plenty of people find happiness from it to keep it alive and well. I don't follow Buddhism but respect it's right to exist and thrive.
