First Religions?

Question

Before the coming of Christianity, there was the Pantheons. Greek, Norse, Egyptian, Druidism from the Celts, and Wiccan. If Christianity was never brought into exsistance, and these older religions still ruled the world's beliefs, which would you pick, and why? What would the world be like today if it were only based around these first religions?

Shamanism... In-tuned with nature and the world would be a much simpler place.

oh and because it pre-dates Christianity by about 20 thousand years.

You forgot mentioning Hinduism which existed much before "Before Christ" and I don't find fault with you, Western media has been myopic when it comes to recognising Eastern wisdom in general and Indian wisdom in particular. This might be the result of the earliest Western scholars deliberately choosing to belittle the Indian culture as they might have been in favour of "enlightening" the colonies in India of their respective nations by "christianising" them, so it didn't serve their purpose to popularise the local beliefs. Of course, even if christianity (or islam) was not born, Hinduism still would NOT have "ruled the world's beliefs" because it never believed in conversion, so the Hindus would have just "minded their own business". Why, Hinduism even spawned Budhism, Jainism, and several other "isms".
I am sorry if I did not answer your first question, I wouldn't pick any of those you mentioned as, to my understanding, none of them survived the ravages of time (and rich missionaries). Reg. you second question, in such a scenario, I guess the world would be a lot better - just imagine, if such rich culture existed so long ago, how well it would have evolved, if only it survived!

If there is a God then the first religion will be worship of God in its simplest form.Later,new laws being added or deleted by God suiting the time man lived.As time evolved religious law also changes to suit but all according to God.
But there were also 'Paul-like' changes which split one religion into sub- sects and subsequently to form a new and separate religion eg Christianity in Jewish tradition and Ahmadiah and Bahaiulah in Islam
I also believe that polytheistic religion also have its root as revealed religion but has evolved too far.
There is also local religions which starting from an animistic one evolved to a well organised religion but with alot of legends and mythology

I'd follow the Norse pantheon. Norse gods and goddesses appeal to me the most, I guess. The world would be nice if those beliefs were still around.

The world would probably not be much better than it is now. Religion is unnecessary, hopefully one day the human brain will evolve past the need to concoct such dangerous and pointless fairy tales.

The very first was belief in the One True God. All other religions began as a result of sin.

Islam. It is up-to-date.
And also things in the Qur'an and hadith really happened in this life.

Example:
I saw this hadith and soooooo impressed and it strengthened my belief in Islam.
This is not the exact words, it is just what I remember from that hadith.

'There will be an age that people in that age are in competition to build tall buildings.' It is really happened isnt it? In our life?

all these religions you just named are cultic religions meaning with demonic spirits as the root not the God of heaven! you have all the demons of witch craft and satan himself, those are cults! before Jesus was the same God who made the Garden and he is the Jewish God and Only true God Jehova or Yahevew! or Jesus!
