Haven't seen Jimmie in a long time, but like most televangelists, he spent a lot of time and effort asking for money. A true minister of God was instructed not to do this. Jesus himself told the apostles take nothing with you but the clothes on your back.
He did not say ask people to send you their money, buy fancy cars and live in mansions.
