This is for all those who blindly grade and insult other religions without previously knowing anything about them. If two or more different religions exsist in the same world, then which one is right? For example... the Norse Pantheon, Wiccan, Druidism, Christianity, and Islam. For the believers of each religion, they are in their own minds, correct. So what right does another religion have at coming in and telling those believers that they are wrong, and should believe in another diety? I have always made it a point to study other religions, this way I gain a perspective on their belief system and can understand it. Doing this gives me a respect for what they do and how they do it, rather than blindly misunderstanding everything about them and making inappropriate profiles or unkind comments about their beliefs and lifestyle. Please feel free to answer anyway you can.

Different religions are paths leading to the same goal of salvation - said Swami Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, the teacher to Swami Vivekananda. Hence whichever religion a man wants to follow, it is his personal decision. Deriding other religions other than one's own serve no purpose. There have been very good teachings by different masters of religions. One can follow from all these, whichever will not harm society and himself.

Depending on your views, they are all right or all wrong. For me, my religion is right and an answer, but can I state that it is THE truth, THE answer. We are only human and are not capable of even forming an idea of the whole complete truth. Respect and accept each other, give love instead of hate, take care for your loved ones and don't be afraid to help out strangers. And don't forget that the major religions of today do have the same roots. Only people had their different opinions about how to interpret God's message. Conclusion: For me, no wrong religions exists, only bad "behavior".

A true believer in any religion believes in the philosophy of "live and let live". Also the core of each religion is peace. Some have a "10 Comments" and one is Tho shall not kill. All religions believe this.

Its only the misguided fanatic fools who believe otherwise and try and force there beliefs on others.
Everything above applies to ALL religions. When I saw religious fanatics I mean ANY religion!

That is hard to answer because people believe strongly in their religion. if you ask a Muslim why Islam is the true way he can give you an answer just as good as my answer about Christianity. Once you are raised in one belief system its hard for anyone to tell you that its wrong. My answer would be that the person that you ask about his religion is right....in his eyes.

Sorry I couldn't be bothered to read all your missive but I am reminded of what a wise and revered Preacher once told me;

The religions are like the sides of a Pyramid the more devout you are the higher up the side you will climb but when and if you reach the top you will find that there is only One God.

Praise your God whatever you perceive him to be.

neither. all religions are wrong. no matter how much peace they proclaim.

most religions are told by their holy texts that they are the choseon ones or the correct ones. those who beleive it usually tend to beleive that their religion is the coorect one qand any other one is evil . its inherent within religion. religion divides adn separates peop.e eventually the separation leads to conflict.

im with you on the studying other religions, its important to know and understand where these peopel are coming from. the difference between me and you is that i see that religion is detremental to society and its advancement. so i have a reason to not respect it.

when a religion says that science cannot afdvance because it dislieks where science will advance to, its time for that religion to die.

Having respect for other religions is fine.
But there is only one true God.So there can only be one true religion.(Eph.4:5)
Mat.7:13-"Go in through the narrow gate, because broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction and many are the ones going in through it,whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it"
It is up to each one of us to search for the truth of God's Word, the Bible.(John 17:3)

Both are wrong, that's why they keep on bashing each others heads in.
Just in case you did not know, the jews are God's chosen people, most other religions, including christianety and muslims have borrowed most of their bible and koran from the jewish bible.

Vey true...cant agree more....But my friend, you must also realize that if you truly belive in God and that the life and its complexity was created rather made by chance, then you must also agree that God must require something out of us. In all likely hood by sending prohets, people among us through whom GOD would communicate his message to us. Now we know that if any book is to stand the claim that it is from GOD, it must stand the test of time. It must be accurate acording to the scientific norms of today and not contradict them. I did not choose my religon on the basis of my parents. Rather, I read all books claiming to be divine, and tried to analyze them in the scientific light. And I found the Quran to be in complete harmony in all that we know of science today. I feel that cannot be a coincidence, and I invite all out there to have a scientifc analysis of all books, Including the Quran to find the one true religon from GOD.

For Allah says in the Quran that when truth is compared to falsehood, falsehood perishes, for falsehood by its very nature is bound to perish. Lets search for that one true religon by reason and logic rather than stick to our parents ideologies. Also we should not judge any religon by its followers, but by the divine book which spread that religon. God Bless you all.
