It doesn't really. You are exactly right. God created you as a human being, a divine expression if you like, and we are all meant to be different. You were also created with certain 'tools' to reproduce, and also to give lots of pleasure - to yourself and other people. So there is nothing wrong (and a lot right) with your sexual preferences.

Make love to whomever you wish. As long as you are being responsible (ie, using contraception, respecting others' feelings) and are not harming anyone, then you are doing nothing wrong. Just make sure that it always 'means something' to you with someone who also 'means something' to you. You should always cherish the experience.

I reckon you will only get 'trouble' if you are being irresponsible in your lovemaking, but as long as you take precautions, then you will not be damned or judged. The people who tell you this are usually very narrow-minded types who have been brainwashed by the twisted and bigoted end of religion. They 'come from' a place of guilt, judgement and negative belief. They are used to making harsh criticisms of people, maybe as a covering mechanism for some inner unhappiness.

(I am saying 'maybe' here, because again, everyone is different, and whichever religion people follow, it is 'right' for them)

Take away judgements, and you take away pain. There is no need to buy into guilt or punishments just because someone else says so.

If being gay or lesbian was sinful, then how come it has existed throughout the ages? How come now, gays and lesbians have the freedom to 'come out of their shells' more and more? The world is changing, and the religious headcases can't accept this. They will say that AIDS or STIs are 'punishment' for being gay, but this probably has more to do with the guilt and stress of being harshly condemned by society, than any God action.

If you 'weren't meant to do it' or if sex was dirty and sinful, then why have you been given all these tools? People will say it is so that you can reproduce which is true, but then why also is it accompanied by really wonderful feelings? You ARE meant to be happy and have pleasure.

So open yourself up and have some fun. If you are giving pleasure to yourself and others, then God is perfectly cool with that.

God has nothing to do with sexual preference, that would be man made religion that is responsible. You see if man loved man and woman loved woman, there would be less babies and less money coming into church for weddings, baptisms and via the collection box.
Spirit says that regardless of sexual orientation, the only thing that matters is LOVE.
You have been given free will in this matter, so excercise it, albeit discreetly, respectfully and in the knowledge that it is God that gave you the capacity for love in the first place.

Love trully does make the world go round.

Love and Light

First define GOD and then define what all should you accpet from GOD, Base the studies on 'logic' and 'Science'

1) Plug the wire of a TV into the socket. Dont switch it ON. leave it as it is.
My question to you, if no body switches it ON, can it switch ON by itself?

2) You are lost in a forest, there you see a house in the middle of the forest. you are certain that this house has been built by someone. you may not know who he is but you are dead sure that the house has a owner. WHY?

3)You dont see Infra-Red radiations, yet you believe its existence. you dont see the waves that are meitted while we talk, yet you can feel it. you have not seen a single galaxy yet you believe the presence of millions of galaxies. WHY?

4) You were not present when an Apple fell over Newton. And he discovered Gravity. yet you believe Newton discovered 'Gravity'. have you seen it? Yet you believe in the phenomenon called 'Gravity'.

5) Nobody knows where is the exact location of 'Mind' and the 'Soul' in the human body, yet millions accept its prescence.

If you can affirm all these without seeing them, Can not the whole of the universe be built by ALmighty GOD???

The house in the forest has to have an owner, The Gigantic universe running in precise equilibrium, without an Owner?

GOD exists and HE is only ONE

The truth is Monotheism. There is only ONE GOD. Not 2, 3 or more.

This is the truth. A small school cant exist on 2 principals. Any organization has ONE final Authority. Therefore how can the entire universe be run by 2, Trinity or more GODs???

Then, the next truth is GOD is imageless. GOD cant be compared with anything on earth. GOD cant have wife and kids. If GOD can have wife and kids and still be called GOD then we all are GODs.

The final truth is that any religion that asks you to submit yourself to GOD is 'The Real Truth'. There can be no Law greater than the Law of 'The Creater'.

Apply the 3 principals and you get Islam. Which believes in Monotheism, doesnt give any image to GOD and asks its followers to submit their will (wholeheartedly) to GOD.

You cant have your own laws. If you buy a TV. Dont you refer to the instruction manual for the TV? Or you just mess it up as you like it since you OWN it?

The body which we have is not ours. Its a ctually a gift of ALmighty GOD which we have to use it as per his guidelines.

All the rules and Laws made by Man are subject to fail as Man doesnt know whats in store for him in the future. So Bow yourself to The will of GOD... In other words Submit your will to Almighty GOD. Enter Islam which means "Peace acquired by submitting your will to ALmighty GOD (ALLAH)"

Someone asked a question about If I died and met God, what ultimate question will i ask him and here was my answer!
---------------------------------

If I died an met God then it means that The Bible(speaking as a christian) is true or patially true. Then the first question I will ask him is this;

Is being Gay a sin!

If the answer is yes then i will automatically go to hell even if i lived a good life(the number one being "Love thy Neighbour as thyself") but did not change my sexuality.
---------------------------------------------

I believe in God and am a christian also. I folow the bible teachings but the only thing i find it hard to believe is the thing about my sexuality. So I said since I belive in God why dont I ask him Directly. Many answers have come my way, i think, but i still find it hard to accept. I will like to list two strong point of views, i have many but it is too much to put down here.

1. Take a look at society today, many sexual deviations are coming up. We have people who like to toture thier sexual companion to the brink of death just for Pleasure. I think u already know where am getting at. Sex is a Pleasure, a Desire, and it comes with Lust, which can lead to violence! On the other hand it can create life.

2. Now take a look at this( speaking as a christian); From the Bible, First John(1 John) Chapter 1 verses 15 to 17:

"Do not love the world or anything int the world. If anyone loves the word, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world - the cravins of sinful man, the lust in his eyes and the boastings of what he has and does - comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever."

To clarify this, ill go back again to the curent trend of sexual practices, they definately did not start with Adam and Eve, again am speaking in a christian view point. However I can indirectrly say that it did not start with Evolution as Darwin put it. These sex practices came with desire, pleasure, lust, etc. But wait what about love, can two men or two women love each other and also court together since love, in its many contexts can be seen as a a good and pure form of pleasure, desire or lust when it comes to sex. But wait.....the more you think about it , the more you see BUTs here and there. So there is no complete answer when you view it from what is going on in our society today. As many people have said, thier sleeping with somebody is doing no harm.

The way i see it is that any religion has a rule book. The Bible is the rule book for christianity. You are given a set of rules to follow, such rules as i have stated above. That passage tells me that the World is anything that the Father (God) does not like. So if you do them you are a sinner.

So my Dear Asker, On what Grounds do you believe in God? You said you do not believe in religion. My guess is because religion imposes these rules on us so that we can follow it and not deviate. So you should ask your God your question and he will give you his own set of rules. Dont base your belief of a God on religion and then worry why the religion has something against what you do. If your God said you should sleep with people of the same sex, nobody is going to stop you since today you will find a companion who does the same thing you do. However if your God said you should kill people freely, then am sorry we cannot let you do that, since we are human beings and we also have to defend ourselves.

I rest my Case!

If it's true that god made us all...blah blah blah, then he will allow you to be who you are, otherwise that would make him evil surely. If you are to be condemned for something that is not hurting anyone then god can't be good.

Also, if the bible preached acceptance of all races and sexes then gay people wouldn't be persicuted by Christians.
So in my eyes, it can't be a good thing.
You are who you are, and if some christian dictator leader doesn't like it, become a buddhist, they love everyone!

And...consider this...where was Jesus's wife? And do you really believe that Mary did get pregnant without Joseph's help?
Technically speaking, wasn't Jesus born out of wedlock? If he's the son of God, Mary and God weren't married...

If you are asking specifically about the Christian religion then consult I Corinthians 6:9; that basically sums it up. God said something and a lot of us follow what he said. In most ways, homosexuality can be accredited to the hedonistic will of the participants. Your society, and most of the world, for the past several millenniums, have considered homosexuality taboo; the participants are generally outcast from the society and even killed; therefore, if you participate in it, whilst knowing, deep down in your heart, that it is wrong, you are participating for the sole purpose of your own pleasure, with no benefits for your fellow man.

Earlier in this article, I made a statement that "No one is born gay." If I make this statement without any Scripture to back it, then it is only my opinion and it is no better or worse than anyone else's opinion. On the other hand, if there is Scripture to back up my belief, then it is not opinion, but rather fact from God's Word. By reading Romans 1:18-32, we see that God has related to man, through the Apostle Paul, the consequences for unbelief in God. It is of interest to note that God put the sin of homosexuality in with unbelief in God. Although we will not discuss that issue in depth, we want to concentrate on verses 26 and 27 of Romans chapter 1. "For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet."

In these two verses, we see that God gave them up because of their actions, namely homosexuality. God considered their actions as "vile affections." The word "vile," in Greek, means: indignity, disgrace, dishonor, shame. Would God consider an act that He saw nothing wrong with "vile?" These two verses also show that man with man and woman with woman is not natural.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ You are not the only person to have a problem with sexual preference, go to any website and their are testimonies about people changing because the wanted soo much to serve God correctly.

The rules of "god" were written by man. For society to exist (way back when), they had to have people pro-create and continue to have children so that the labor force would not be depleted. Hence, the rule for sexual preference. The rule is archaic today and serves no valid purpose. I suppose that is why it only appears in the Old Testament.

I believe all religious texts were written by mere mortal MAN to control the masses. Just because your lifestyle doesnt fit in with the thoughts of a man that existed thousands of years ago doesnt mean you are less of a human being. Embrace individuality. I manage to live a perfectly happy life without 'gods' love - so can you.

God created Adam and Eve and told them to multiply the earth. That is the pupose of sex, to recreate. The Bible says that God intended for a man and woman to be together. God took a rib from Adam to creat Eve. When you marry in Gods will, you marry who God created you to be with. The man is the head and the woman is the help-meet. The Bible says homosexuality is a sin. But it is no more a sin then having premarital sex. God does care about who you go to bed with, He cares about everything we do.
