Pepper!!! I love to use this instead of salt, however, it makes the food spicier. I also like to substitute salt with a fine chopped mixture of onions and garlic. I believe another good one is soy sauce, but since it has sodium in it (basically salt, get a low or no sodium soy sauce). Enjoy!!!

Do you want something that will make your food salty? Then no. Well maybe yes, but its probably all fake and made of chemicals, and many of the "substitutes" on the market cause cancer, and other health problems.

If you mean just to add flavor, of course. There are many many saltless seasonings on the market that add alot of flavor, without adding the actual salt. It all depends on what you like though. My advice would be to go out and buy a bunch of the seasonings on the market and try them.

Better not to use salt. Use herbs. Chives, basil, mint, ginger root garlic, w/pungent spices like garlic & ginger root, you don't need salt because their flavor is so strong & spicey. Hot peppers , Oregano, cumin, or go thru the oriental section of your supermarket. Seaweed is 1 of my favorites & very high in iorn which is what women need anyway, you can use fruit, lime lemon, orange, pineapple ,nots, seeds, just go to the health food store & they can help ,you out. salt, white flour, & sugar are the worst thing you can put in your body.
