Hmm. D'ya think we'd also become largely infertile? Most animals that live so long don't have very many babies, either.

Why would you want to live to 150 years old anyways? The brain begins to disembark at the age of 42. You want to live through 108 years of a dying brain, that would eventually cease to function @ 120 years old or so?

Because it wouldn't matter, after we reach 150 we would want 50 more. Also because the earth will be over populated if people didn't die.

Well, grow old first. I bet you'l lose every desire to live upto 150 years, it's a hard life out here. Also, your body needs permanent rest, it is made to last about 65 years, and you are using medicines here to make your body move...it's like using a rusted material for a long time.

Because its so much easier to die. If you lived without dying then its kinda pointless to live.

Because if we did not die we could not have evolution. We have evolved to die. Our world is a finite resource. Death affords room for new members.

I know! Like, why can't WE decide how long or short our lives will be? WE should be in charge of EVERYTHING surrounding our lives...We should be immortal until we CHOOSE to die...

With our present state of medical care and scientific progress, believe me when I say that DEATH can be a friend. When my mother finally died last year, all of our family gave a sigh of relief that it was finally over, because we knew she wouldn't suffer any more. Think of Christopher Reeve, who considered suicide when he was paralyzed after his riding accident, or burn victims who suffer the agonies of Hell on earth. Yes, DEATH can be a friend.

All beings die. 150 years is still mortal.
