Because many think it really is there job to save everybody else. Its often the problem of new christians. They are so "amped" about there new found faith they want others to join in too. But they get a bit too overexcited, and can't understand why others don't feel the way they do, and start getting mean.
many ppl also think that fear is a great way to motivate ppl. They only concetrate on the problems by not becomming a christian, rather then all the other stuff.

wow.. if that wasnt wtong to say...
if a christian does judge someone else then they are not a true christian.. a christian is to live in God's image, God can forgive anyone then a christian should be able to forgive anyone.
I am a christian and i do not "judge" anyone.. i believe that everyone has their reason on doin what it is that they do. an i do not judge other people by their religions either, even if i do not agree with it.
see i was born and raised in Cuba, due to that i see things very very differently then ppl in the united states. but i do not judge even if what they are doing i think is wrong. and ppl in different countries i do not judge either..
if someone was born an raised in Iraq, chances are they grew up bein taught the god Ala. They may have grew up bein taught that God was not good and that he was a bad person. a childs mind will comprehind anything that u tell it and after u are taught the same thing since birth it becomes a part of u.. juss as i was taught God. So i can not judge someone for something else.. they have a reason they believe in doing as i have a reason that i am a christian.

Beause they're not perfect.
Lame excuse I know, but, it's true. Yes, infact the Bible tells us not to judge-
Matthew 7:3
"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?
this passage comes to mind. Yet we are not perfect, nor will we ever be "perfect" in that sense. The fact is, we are living in a fallen world an that includes us. If judging is something we have a problem with the best thing we can do is pray for God's help, and try our best not to judge anymore.

Because some Christians are soo hard-core for Jesus that they lose what the Bible tells them and become agressive people that say things like "Change or go to Hell."
My sister and I are a part of a church and we want more people to come to God, but when they are ready and not when we feel like their time is. Think on this: Christians want people to serve God because they truly believe that without him, you are going to Hell.
So thinking on that, you should appreciate the offer of becoming a Christian when it is presented and either say yes or no. The Christian presenting God to you only cares about you and doesn't want to see you get hurt once your dead. If this is just some Christian running up and saying, "Change!!!", then maybe they need prayer or to open up their Bible and seriously take what they read to heart.
"And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not perceive the plank in your own eye? "Or how can you say to your brother, 'Brother, let me remove the speck that is in your eye,' when you yourself do not see the plank that is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck that is in your brother's eye."
Luke 6:41-42 NKJV
In verse 41, Jesus states, "Why to you look and find fault with your brother's spiritual walk, how he believes or lives." When you can't see the big fault in your own Christian walk, life style or belief. He says first remove that fault, habit or belief of your own. It may be a sin you need to get rid of by the power of the Holy Spirit, or maybe a gross false teaching you may have retained from the traditions of men. Such a teaching may be like a plank in your eye because it has prevented you from perceiving so much truth from the Scriptures.

I think it's human nature not to want to see your own faults, and point the finger at other people, instead of trying to fix what's wrong within yourself. I think some "Christians" are the biggest hypocrites, and the most crooked people I've ever met. It's the people who don't hide behind religion, and are just themselves, whether religious or not, that are genuine in my opinion. There's a saying: "The camel doesn't see the crook of its neck." The camel has an easier time pointing out that everybody else's neck is crooked, than admitting that his is, too.

I think many christians don't know that there judging other people. They may judge as a misguided attempt to "love" or show concern. Yet this is a prime example of the "Do as I say, not as I do" approach.

They need to read their Bible... it says God will judge those outside of the "church" (meaning the body of believers)... they are only supposed to judge those within the church. God did not die and leave them in charge.

The judgement of God is above all other judgements, including non Christians.
Laws of man variance from a state to another state, from a country to another country, from an individual to another individual.
Christians, when they are judgemental, knows the truth, if they are deceivers of their faith, then the only persons being deceived are themselves.

the Chrsitian who says that is wrong.
Bible texts, explicitly and implicitly, exhort individuals to judge themselves thoroughly before judging others. I'll bet that God's intention is that we prepare our thoughts, verbal outputs, intelligence, the works of our hands, etc. as if they are to receive the most comprehensive of all judgements, before we even begin to judge that of others.
