Spirituality is religion without all the external rules and regulations and belief structures that you need to adhere to.
Spirituality is connection with Spirit, which is universal to all religions and paths, but normally found as an experience, rather than in books, laws, etc.
Spirituality is the soul of religion.

They're basically pointing at the same Creator/God, but spirituality is about each person finding his/her own path, while religion tries to set up rules that everyone must follow like saying you must accept Christ or else. A person can therefore accept Christ and be religious while having zero spirituality and actual understanding that all humans are part of the same soul Adam, that broke into many different pieces so when all humanity unites they recreate the original Adam and transcend the material world, and achieve eternal Life. What particular religion one belongs to matters little.

Religion is for people afraid of going to hell, Spiritualism is for those of us who have already been..
Religious people need a set of rules to be good people. Spiritual people are just good people on their own.
