What do u mean suffer? Being banned from Eden? Now come on! Would you REALLY like to live in a garden all your life.. no tv, no computer.. just animals and nakedness and .. um.. relatives? There would be no progress.. no technology..
And yuck! Just imagine living out in the open with no shelter from rain... with all the slimy creepy crawlies...
For Adam and Eve it was punishment to be taken from the only life they knew, to work and plow to eat.. but for us.. its life! I'm living on an island.. and it'd be hell broing without tech! Living in 'Paradise' ain't all its cut out to be!
You thank your lucky stars for the 21st century! We're living the life our ancestors could only dream about.

I know this doesn't really answer your question, but I wanted to deal with the REAL issue you have about birth. Having a baby hurts. There's no denying that. But the more informed you are about it, the better prepared you can be. All I can suggest is to do your best to RELAX during labor. The pain increases when you are more tense. Contractions are like wave building up and then slowly going down. I used the gas mask and that helped. I could concentrate on something else to help me cope. Change positions, use a warm pack on your back, get in a tub to help relieve pain. Accept any medicine they offer you, unless you know you're already allergic. I've had 2 babies so I know it hurts. Fortunately, many women opt to get the epidural. I personally did not have this, but many think it's great. Don't worry! You'll soon have a precious baby to hold. Take good care of him or her. They are so helpless and your baby will need your love and care so much! Get help when you need it. Newborns are a lot of work and you need to use all the help you can. Hopefully grandma or grandpa can watch your sweet little one when you go out to get a much-needed break. Good luck!!

Very simple, suffering is a feeling.

Because you have the ability to feel that's why you can feel pain or you can feel joy.

If you cannot feel pain but feel joy all the time, do you really think that is joy? I think that's a monotonous feelings as good as no feelings at all. Because we need suffering to really appreciate joy and happiness. The deeper the sorrow, the greater the joy will be.

If you are a women, I think you will understand this. It's like childbirth. When you are in labour, it is painful. But when it is over, it is the most beautiful thing.

But you have a choice. In fact, you can choose not to feel sorrow. It will all depend on what do you do about your sorrow. Do you just sit there and keep feeling the pain? Do you just do nothing about it and keep feeling the suffering? There are many things you can do about it you know?

Some just choose to forget about it and do something else.

Some choose to observe the suffering and later realize that the suffering will go away like a breath of wind.

Some delight in suffering for God as Christ said "Whoever suffer because of my sake, be happy for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven".

Some choose to be happy about it because of the result of their suffering. Perhaps they have suffered and worked hard all day long... and now they are waiting to reap the harvest.
People suffer in helping others. Some suffer so that others might be happy.

So, what are you going to do about your suffering?

Why do people suffer? If God is so loving, why is there so much evil in the world? If He is all-powerful, why does He permit murders, horrible accidents, catastrophies? If a loving, powerful God is in charge, why does evil so often seem to have the upper hand?
Why indeed. No one seems to know. It is clear however that this is a world filled with pain, making this matter of God's participation in the affairs of men one of life's most significant -- and enduring -- questions. It should come as no surprise therefore that the oldest contiguous book in the world, the Biblical account of Job, offers some insight into this age-old question.

God provided for paradise for his creation of man and woman. It was never his intention that we should suffer in any way. He gave intructions and Adam and Eve broke those instructions. He imposed a punishment on them that he said would carry down through the ages. Eve should not have been weak enough to be tempted by the Devil, but Adam should have been strong enough to obey the instructions that God gave him. Their original sin had to be punished and all have suffered for it. Although I am not exactly sure what you have suffered, if you have accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior you have the Holy Spirit to help you and guide you along your path. God never said that things would be perfect when you are saved, he just promised not to leave you.

Like Curly of the 3 stooges, were all "victims of circumstance".

Just as we all suffered due the sin of one man, Adam, we were all able to redeemed by the obedience and sacrifice of one man, Jesus Christ.

God, in his perfect wisdom, set it up that way.

Even though we've been redeemed, we still have to wait for the present age to wrap up, before God can restore all things, eliminate suffering and evil, and make everything new again.

Our present sufferings are only temporary and fleeting. They will pass quickly.

The eternity to come is a long, long, long time, and that's for what this life is preparing us.

“I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.” (Isaiah 45:7)

That scripture proves that God, not Satan, creates evil. It says so right there! "I make peace AND CREATE EVIL."
Christians can't deny what their own Bible says. If one is truly monotheistic, then one must believe what it says, for if there is something that God didn't create, then there must be another god that is at least his equal. Christians call that god "Satan." The Israelites (and their descendants, the Jews) did not recognize Satan as anything other than an angel, a messenger and servant of God.

If trouble comes laugh, there is nothing like that to press upon and drive away sorrow..

A flood of troubles will be overcome by the courageous thought which the minds of the wise will entertain, even in sorrow..

They give sorrow to sorrow, who in sorrow do not suffer sorrow..

we all suffer....... because of that sin.... we suffer because we make choices ( bad ones at times) ...just like they did..
God rather than destroy us right then, said ok, have it your way... make your own rules..your own religions.. your own societies..and i will watch and see how it goes..... and i will back off and let you..... you suffer (as all of us do) ...because you see the result
