Mayweather is class, but hatton is a warrior with true heart. I think the way Ricky would win is to work on the body, this will grind mayweather down and ricky will be the one standing at the end of the fight.

Personally I would like to see a Hatton versue de la hoya fight, thats a fight that would see both styles suit.

i think FMJ would win as he is to cute for Hatton, the weight would make a big difference if it was at 147 then hatton would take a pasting as he doesnt look good at that weight, 140 would be closer and Hatton would be difficult but imo PBF has to much skill for Hattons brawling style.

I'll always take a boxer over a brawler and FMJ is just about the best boxer around at the minute. Hatton is a gutsy fighter so i couldnt see him getting ko'd he would be outclassed and lose on wide points margin to "pretty boy" floyd

This is a easy question Iam a big fan of hatton but if ya look at this as boxing fight and not as a hatton fan there is only 1 winner and its not hatton for 1 thing he is still going to fight out of his weight class his trainer billy the preacher graham has stated he wants him bk down but the money in not there. look what happend in hattons last fight a tricky southpaw boxer with no punch record nearly stoped hatton and even on points hatton should not of won so maweather i better boxer and puncher hatton will not last 12 rounds look at gatti and mayweather yes gatti is shot but same sort of style mayweather blowed him away yes hatton one of best body punchers in the world but if ya cant hit whats in front of ya that doesnt help ya so for me and yes iam sad to say this being a hatton fan mayweather stoppage bye cuts or ref stopping the fight before round 8

I'm a bit biased as I'm English and Hatton is my favourite fighter at the moment, but i truly believe Hatton would give Mayweather an Asswhooping and i think if the fight took place at Light Welter it would be even more one sided (probably a KO), I am more worried about Ricky fighting Margarito and even Baldomir as i think they are true Welters who would cause him problems with power. I think Mayweather is a fraud until he fights someone who can beat him, i mean come on Judah and Gatti, and everyone knows he will be trying to set up a celebrity fight with Mosley next, i rest my case.

Tough fight to call, as Hatton lacks nothing in heart and punch power at light welter and Mayweather seems to have the edge on boxing ability. The problem is Mayweather has his career planned out for him and I doubt Hatton is on the list of fights which include Cotto, Winky, Moseley and even De La Hoya.

heres the problem, hatton is a jr welterweight, he tried to gain some lbs and fight on the welterweight division and giv it a shot, but he got hurt against collazo, sure he won, but collazo is no FMJ, and mayweather wont go down beacuse he fights on his normal weight, but if it was to happen i think mayweather would beat him on welterweight, but hatton would have a good chance on JW
