We were after terrorists for 9/11 attack, we endend up creating multitudes of terrorists in Iraq, where there were none before the invasion... Agreed there was Saddam but he was a dictator not a fundamentalist terrorist. Iraq is a weak state full of fundamentalist leaders who have their own terrorist armies and totally uncontrollable and dispersed.

Though Taliban has been dislodged, they are not completely out... in fact more dangerous now because they are dispersed and not responisble to anyone.

Though i am for elimination of terrorists, i think the strategy is boomaraning and hitting us in the face. Where ever there is instability and weak states it becomes a breeding ground for warlords and terrorists. This is what history tought us too yet we refuse to learn.

They cant even catch up with terrorist from WWI1, and 2 it was always there and always will be . Isn't spies or CIA and all that terrorism too. selling weapons to other country's to fight , why arm them to begin with? Why did a war start then end and now its the terrorist ? whats up with that. war has no rules other than to win. If they went to war do you think they care about rules. if they could follow rules they wouldn't be at war hey

Ok so what do you do smart guy. Do nothing and get critized or do something and get critized. I am sorry but I don't see you offering a legitmate plan to deal with the situation, and if you did people like you would shoot it to shreads. What have you learned from history? Critism if fine and good to come up with the best possible solution, but critism without a suggestion is pretty weak.

I think that the situation in the Middle East has been bubbling for so long, that no matter what gets done (or doesn't get done), things have to run their course. It's ugly and no matter what the US does, we get blamed. Even when we don't do something, we get blamed.

Some days I feel like we should hit the BIG RED BUTTON and be rid of them all...

Some other days I feel like: Let just them exterminate each other.
