as a Muslim too i tell u Sara That the answer is in the quran, Jesus wasn't killed and didn't die, he was raised to god waiting for the moment he returns to earth at the end of the world. the one that the Jews put on the cross was another one that god made him looks like Jesus in this moment to make the Jews believe that they killed him as they deserve not to now the truth because of what they had done to Jesus and all the Prophets of god all their liefs

Hey !

First of all you look cute and I am glad that you haven't covered your self up.

Secondly, I am not a Christian nor a Muslim, but a free thinker and love studying all types of beliefs including Satanism. Well from the research that I have done, no body can be killed by Crucifixion. In fact some people in Indonesia or Malaysia are doing it as a ritual annually - one such person has got crucified some 40 odd times in a row and wants to stop when he reaches 50. Imagine getting crucified on a yearly basis ?

Well it was a punishment that was given to some of the criminals at that time. Jesus was punished using the same method. What happened to him on the cross was that he fainted off the blood loss and tiredness. Soon after his punishment period was over, in 3 days he was set free - in fact he stayed on to have 2 more kids with Mary Magdalene - they had to flee Jerusalem after wards again - where Mary fled to France and Jesus fled to India where he died off natural causes - that is in Kashmir.

firstly....I'm Atheist. But i do know history! i do know that historically there WAS a Jesus..he was a prophet and there were Roman documents of such a man during the time of Jesus. He was considered a traitor to the Romans for "preaching" against their beliefs and their rule.
the Romans charged him and then his fate was decided by his own people. Jesus was a Jew, the Jewish people called out for him to be crucified. and so the ROMANS crucified him.
Crucifixion is a ROMAN concept not a Jewish one. the Romans crucified many ppl so its a very convincing story.
however...i don't know if this happened or not. it could have. the Romans crucified anyone they considered a traitor. and usually it was the poor people in the country they had dominated at the time.
i find it very ironic that the very ppl that supposedly killed Jesus, were the ones in the end to use that powerful new "political tool", called Christianity as a way to rule supreme, ie. the Roman Catholic church.

It's not like it is today, christianity was a flamboyant pagan cult that seemed to enjoy inflicting guilt and pain upon eachother. Jesus, always a troublemaker, attacked some jewish money lenders that chose to peddle on the steps of a temple. They appealed to their Roman masters for justice, if you can believe the new testament, which has been edited more than 60 times.
Coincidentally, virgin birth was created by a mis-traslation from the original arabic. It acctually does happen, perhaps once every century, although the result is always female.

The Jews! They turned him over to Pilate!

Mat 16:21 From that time Jesus went on to make clear to his disciples how he would have to go up to Jerusalem, and undergo much at the hands of those in authority and the chief priests and scribes, and be put to death, and the third day come again from the dead.

Mat 27:18 Pilate knew that the leaders had brought Jesus to him because they were jealous.

Mat 27:20 But the chief priests and the leaders convinced the crowds to ask for Barabbas to be set free and for Jesus to be killed.

Well I am not Christian but I will give my opinion anyway if that is ok :)

Jesus was killed by himself. The reason I say this is because he broke the law and he was punished for his crimes by the way that was thought to be fitting at the time. Just as in some US states if you kill someone in a horrible way you are put to death (the difference being that now we try to do it "nicely").

That happend on the Bald Hill near Yerusalim part of the Roman Iudae Province. The sentence of crucifiction of Jesus was pronounced by the crowd in Yerusalim on a trial presided by Pilate Pontius a Roman procurator of Iudae. Pilate himself was not convinced in Jesus guilt but finally decided to take in mind the opinion of the crowd.
The real act of murder (if could be said so) is made by a Roman soldier who pierced Jesus with a spear whili he was crucified to save him for the pain and suffering. But I do not know the name of that soldier

God sent his son to die on the cross. Jesus' death was fulfillment of a promise God made to send a Messiah to save the world.

We all killed Jesus; our sinful natures killed Jesus; our betrayal every day when we deny him kills Jesus anew. Every time we are ashamed to confess that He is lord, we drive a nail into him. Every time we draw filth out of our mouths, depravity out of our hearts, and violence against others from our hands---we crucify Jesus again.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son; that whosoever believes in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. The Bible - John 3:16

God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world, through him, might be saved.
The Bible - John 3:17

Although, Jesus died as a result of a Roman soldier beating, scourging, and torturing Jesus; and, because a Roman soldier drove the spikes into Christ's wrists, does not remove the guilt the whole world carries for his death. We are all responsible.

Jesus' body was removed from the cross by John, the Beloved of Christ. While Christ was on the cross, he gave John charge over his mother and called him her son. Joseph of Arimathea gave his burial place to Jesus'. His body was prepared before the beginning of the Sabbath and laid in the tomb by Joseph of Arimathea and John the Beloved; Mary, the Mother of Jesus, and Mary Magdeline were present at the tomb, as well.

Jesus Christ rose from the tomb on the third day after his crucifixation and appeared later to his disciples in the Upper Chamber of their meeting place. He showed his wounds---the nail wounds, the wound in his side where the soldier pierced him to ensure Christ was dead, and the wounds on his feet.

After Christ imparted the Holy Spirit and instructed the disciples of their Great Commission, Jesus ascended into heaven and is now seated at the right hand of our Heavenly Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. After that final judgment, he will reign forever.

Thank you for the opportunity to answer that question.

i think you answered the question ...
you dont believe that Jesus had been killed
yes you are right (don't believe he was killed)
He was crucified, nail to wood and hung to die.

now if Jesus had been killed > there wouldn't be a need for Christianity
so, believe He did not get killed,
believe He died for us all
(you will know when U meet Him in heaven)

he died to redeem us from eternal damnation because we have all sinned too much. that's the catholic christian in me talking.

Jesus was killed because the Roman empire mercilessly put down any possible source of rebellion or riot. The empire's agents included the Roman prefect Pilate who ordered the execution, and the Jewish high priest Caiaphus and his council who initiated the process. Assigning responsibility to an entire group of people, whether the Jews or the Romans, is stereotyping, oversimplifying, and false.
