I would say "On this day last year, I traveled to London," or, "A year ago today, I traveled to London."
The reason is that "today" refers specifically to today--the day that it currently is right now. You've got the sentence right, but the word "today" just doesn't work if you're talking about something that happened in the past.
Hope that helped.

Today last year i travelled to London is wrong because you are telling both the things at a same time''today and last year''.It would be in this way.On this day i travelled to London last year or Last year on this day i travelled to London.

Why not do it about something that you love doing. A hobby or whatever. Or, you could do something that you feel strongly about. Don't fret over it, keep your calm and try not to think about it. Keep a little notebook with you wherever you go, because ideas will pop out at you in the most unlikely of places!
