That's an interesting question and I've never heard it discussed.
We, as Christians, are charged with the Great Commission, which is from Christ and simples says "Witness unto the World".
So, if we ignore that, then we have failed in one of our Christian duties. Is this a serious thing? It isn't if we have never been told that it is. Once we are told, it becomes part of our "scoresheet".
For example, you have just charged me with the Great Commission. I, of course, knew about the GC, but I have never thought of it in terms of being responsible personally for the unsaved souls.
Hmmmmmmmmm, as to the second question you ask--that is God's alone to decide and know. No mortal can possibly know the answer to it (the "dealing").

This depends as some pastors say so. However you cannot force religion upon someone else. When Christians witness by force preaching or just talking religion many don't like it. Although a Christian's personal relationship with God is not religion, Christianity is! Besides everyone has their own mind and even Christians don't all think the same contradictory to what many pastors say. So my answer is you will know how God deals with this when you get there. In the meantime, all you have to say to people is "With God you have some hope, without God nothing is guaranteed"

Intro, that is an excellent question. I believe that God expects us as Christians to LOVINGLY spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and his free gift of salvation through faith in Christ. I have, quite frankly been very disappointed in the number of people on YA that answer nonbelievers with mean, rude, sarcastic answers. Yes I believe that God does hold a born again Christian responsible for planting the seed by telling others of the good news of salvation through Christ. I am not sure that he holds us responsible for your soul, I believe he does hold us responsible for the souls we run off or cause to turn away from him through our attitudes toward nonbelievers. Ultimately if you've heard the word of God and are aware of the way to salvation through Christ and reject it(which is your choice) then I think that he holds you responsible for your own decisions and for the state of your soul.

Only if that particular Christian was specifically told by God to go and witness to a particular non-believer.
Other than that.........NO.
The Christian becomes responsible for that person only after that person becomes a follower of God and begin to learn the basics principles of God's teaching.

Good question.
That is a real thinker. :)
and very SERIOUS.
Has God got a purpose for every Christian? yes. Are you to witness to a certain amount of people according too God's plan? What did Jesus say: Go forth and preach the Gospel. To who? Whoever you want when you want, how you want to do it? Only if your in the mood?

Anybody who does not know about Jesus and his message of salvation will be judge according to whether or not he/she followed his/her conscience. So the non-believer is not necessarily "lost"
Having said that, there is a grave duty for a Christian to bear witness to anyone. But 1 things has to be underscored:
"Bearing witness" here means to tell not to impose. Our duty is to inform, not to persuade.

Many ppl act like it is there job to save others. Whether its helping them find religion, or escape it. It really is up to the actual person to save there own soul. Contrary to popular belief, there is no tally in heaven. And whether you save only your own soul, or 100, as long as you were a good person, followed the bible, and all that your fine.

Yes. As a saved person, we should witness to others whenever we get the chance. If something happens to that person, and we did not witness to them, then their Blood will be on our hands.

And...could the Lord bless you as properly. in my view, i do no longer subject myself with what others have over and above myself. My son is a corporation lawyer. He makes bucku dollars. For my birthday or mothers Day He provides me some molded plaster vase with plastic vegetation he probable paid 2 dollars for on the border of Mexico! i do no longer care. He does this to be humorous, i assume. regardless of floats his boat! I have no choose for something, besides. Thye Lord says that people who stay in sin could have all it quite is in this international to behold, yet--- that's all they get! you may no longer take those issues with you once you circulate. And perpetually is an prolonged time, devoid of. i could lots fairly stay with the presents that God has given and not busy myself with who has what it quite is greener on the different component. as properly, i does no longer see all it quite is proper here in the past me! We could take excitement in what 'we' have now, and seek for that silver lining on the top of our days.

No, we are responsible for our own evolution. Logic and reasoning will tell you this. Who ever tells you that you need to go out and "witness" people for your church, sounds like they want a larger congregation.
