I was i love with a girl from my office for almost a year.. and she lead me on.. but one day she told me her father wanted her to marry a family friend. She said she did feel a thing for him, but he was her very good friend.. and she never broke up with me. But later i found that she was actually having an affair with the guy.... she even had the bugger's pics in her phone... and was quite possibly staying the nights with him. i dont even think her father knows about the guy. I feel cheated.. and used. I dont particularly want to take revenge, as i feel i am better human being than her. But she works with me, and the very sight of her makes me angry these days.. i wish she quits this job and goes away so i dont have to see here everyday... can i do something so that this happens? And no i WILL NOT have a talk with her...

Please don't sink to her level. What goes around comes around. Maybe you will get lucky and he will break her heart, she will come to you for understanding and then you can tell her she made her bed and now she can lie in it. This way you will get the satisfaction of turning her down without resorting to revenge.

Yes, you're angry and yes, you're probably justified. But revenge? Your best bet is to be very correct and polite to her. If she was trying to use you, it will drive her crazy trying to figure out what you're up to.
Trying to get her fired is just as likely to get you out on the street. One possibility is see whether you can find a better job away from her. Don't be terribly male and be stubborn. Any hostility you have towards her will be noticed by others and will affect your working relationships.
Find someone else that you can care for. Once you find that person, you should be calmer and more relaxed. Again, once you're not caring about your ex-friend, you will cause her to wonder what you're up to. The fact that you're not up to anything should be a wonderful confuser to her.

being a human being, i.e. a social animal, you should never take revenge against any body. Taking revenge is foolishness.
Keep your cool and make others feel that you are a person of qualities.
This approach can even change the attitude of the other. this will also help avoid confrontations and will help not only you , but the entire society.

oh come on, dont show her that ur still angry about the whole thing! show her that u dont care and that ur over it. Show her that she meant nothing to you. I say that you shouldnt take revenge on her cuz "what goes around comes around"..she'll get her punishment later in life...so just forget about her and go find some other chick to spend ur time thinking about.

I dont think that you should let it make you angry just ignor her dont look at her dont talk to her dont acknowledge her at all what so ever... cause she will get the feeling like she won... i mean you could do stupid funny things to her like little pranks if you wanna get some fun out of it...

this is an office relationship gone awry.
learn from the experience and find relationships
outside of work.
what goes on with her sexual relations ,
even her family,
really is none of your business,
and you are way out of line thinking you are a player
in all of this.
if she wanted to be with you,
she would be.
but she's not.
get over it and move on!

You are right in not wanting to take revenge, revenge gets you nothing but pain. Just show her and everyone at your work that you are over her and getting on with your life.As they say time heals all pain.
